Thanksgiving

Some how I managed to make it through the all of Thanksgiving with out taking hardly a picture at all. Sad :(   But we ate Thanksgiving dinner this year with parents. I had to laugh out load when I saw this picture above on my phone. it said "The turkey is ready!"  My whole family was able to be at dinner this year. We had a great time. We finished the evening by going to see the movie Red Dawn. It was a great movie if you haven't seen it yet!!  

Jubilee of Trees

Every year we love going to the Jubilee of Trees. This year was no different. It's such a fun way to start off the Christmas season!

Cannon's Par-tay!

:: Cannon's Birthday Party ::

Cannon's birthday party was a blast. After Halloween was over, Cannon kept telling me he wanted a pirate birthday party. So while we were at Wal-Mart, I scored Clint a sweet pirate costume on clearance. Haha! I know he wasn't so happy about my find but Cannon talked Clint into wearing the costume to his birthday party. We wrote out a little treasure hunt and Clint read the clues to them in his best pirate voice!

Along the way the little pirates got a head-band, eye patch, and a spyglass.

The treasure they found was a chest full of cupcakes. We sang happy birthday and had cupcakes and soda. 

Then came the presents...

Thanks everyone again for coming!!! I can't believe my little guy is 5!!!

Mani/Pedi

One of Jacee's most favorite things to do is get her finger nails painted.  It's always a party when I get the polish out. Not only does she want her fingernails painted, she always thinks mine need to be done too. 

This is normally what my toes end up looking like. :)

Jacee didn't think doing our toes was good enough. She insisted on me doing her fingers too. She wanted to do my fingers but I told her next time!

So if anyone is looking for a good mani/pedi, hit up Jacee. I'm sure she'll even do it for you for free!

It seriously blows my mind every time time I think about how this little boy is now 5!! 

Here are some random things about Cannon:

He is the best big brother.

He loves to go to pre-school.

He loves electronics.

He is very smart.

He makes friends easily.

He is a CTR 5 at church now. 

He loves parties.

He is the best first-born a mother could ever ask for!
